Don’t be misled. Choose a genuine ROADLOK.
ROADLOK is an integrated disc lock: security built directly into your motorcycle rather than a separate lock you carry, permanently mounted to the front brake caliper so it is there every time you park. ROADLOK has been innovating for bikers with its integrated locking systems since 2005.
Look closely before you buy
Almost anything can be copied today, and a product can be made to look like ROADLOK in a photo or on a shelf. Genuine ROADLOK is not sold under any other name. Take a minute to check before you buy.
- The ROADLOK name on the lock body. Every genuine lock body carries the official ROADLOK name.
- The yellow ROADLOK lanyard. Every new lock comes with a yellow ROADLOK lanyard in the box.
- ROADLOK packaging. New locks ship in a ROADLOK box.
- An authorized dealer. Buy from ROADLOK or an authorized ROADLOK dealer. In the UK, find a dealer at roadlok-official.co.uk. In the EU, find one at roadlok-official.eu. In the US, buy at roadlok.com.
- A serial number and key code. Every genuine lock has a serial number and a key code. Register both at roadlok.com/registration so replacement keys can be ordered if both originals are lost.
Born on a napkin in 2005
ROADLOK was born on a napkin, drawn by bikers for bikers who had seen what happens when a rider forgets to take off a disc lock. Their answer was a lock that stays on the bike. That idea became the original integrated disc lock, and it has been refined for more than 20 years. Over that time ROADLOK has appeared in the OEM accessory catalogs of KTM, Ducati, Aprilia and Indian Motorcycle. In 2026 it received Sold Secure’s Powered Cycle Diamond certification, and it holds ART 4-star approval in the Netherlands.
Core technology made in the USA
ROADLOK was founded in the USA, and its core technology is manufactured there to this day. The lock body is CNC machined from 6061-T6 aluminum by MDI Solutions in Salisbury, North Carolina, which has manufactured ROADLOK for more than 15 years. The BrakeBolt™ locking pin is made from hardened stainless steel, also in the USA. ROADLOK works with small local businesses for anodizing and other finishing work. Some smaller components and accessories come from overseas. Throughout, ROADLOK has stayed with the same small suppliers that built the brand.
