Disc locks and padlocks have been used to immobilize motorcycles for years, but they have a major flaw! Disc locks allow the bike to move meaning they can damage your bike. (Click STEP ONE)
When a typical disc lock or padlock is installed on a brake rotor it may prevent the wheel from completely rotating, but it still allows the bike to roll forward and backward--up to 6 feet! (Click STEP TWO)
When the bike is pushed or ridden forward the disc lock allows the bike to move.
(Click STEP THREE)
The disc lock eventually strikes the brake caliper or fork bringing the bike to a sudden stop. This prevents the bike from being rolled away, but can cause significant damage!
The RoadLoK® is permanently affixed to the frame of the protected motorcycle.
This prevents all movement saving your bike from damage and you from injury.
